Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Beast & Bloom: Tower Defense (the “Game”), developed by Wuhaitao, handles information when you play. For privacy questions, contact wuhaitao1985@gmail.com.
1. Information stored on your device
The Game stores progress, saved runs, unlocked content, item inventory, preferences, age-group selection, and local advertising event counts on your device. These records support gameplay, reward handling, and troubleshooting. The Game does not require a separate developer account, and we do not operate a server that receives your local saved games or these local counters. Device backups managed by Apple may include app data according to your device settings.
2. Optional rewarded advertising
Rewarded advertising is available only to players who select an age group of 18 or older. Before an age group is selected, or when a player selects under 18, the Game does not initiate AdMob or UMP requests. Eligible players can choose to watch Google AdMob rewarded ads for benefits such as revival or supplies. Advertising availability and the data processed depend on your version, region, consent choices, device permissions, and applicable age protections.
We request non-personalized ads and disable ad personalization in the SDK configuration. The Game does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or access to IDFA. Google’s advertising services may process:
- IP addresses, which can indicate an approximate location;
- Device or advertising identifiers, subject to applicable permissions and settings;
- Ad impressions, video views, and interactions with advertisements;
- Diagnostic and performance information, including crash and app performance data.
This information may be used to deliver and measure advertising, maintain and improve services, and detect fraud or abuse. Non-personalized advertising can still involve data processing; it does not mean that no information is collected. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s iOS advertising data disclosure.
3. Apple Game Center
If you choose to participate in Game Center leaderboards, the Game uses Apple’s Game Center services to authenticate your player and submit scores. Game Center player identifiers, display names, scores, and submission status may be processed for this feature, and account-linked score records are stored locally. Leaderboard entries may be visible to other players according to Apple’s services and your settings. Apple handles Game Center information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can disable score participation in the Game and manage your Game Center account through Apple’s settings.
4. Privacy choices and legal grounds
Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform provides privacy notices and collects choices before eligible advertising requests. Where a privacy options entry is available in the Game, you can use it to review or change those choices. This version does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. You can reset your locally stored age-group selection in Settings. If a device is shared, reset that choice before a different player uses the Game.
Where applicable, consent is used for advertising-related processing that requires it. Information needed to provide requested gameplay and leaderboard features is processed to provide those services. Support correspondence is used to respond to requests, and necessary security or abuse-prevention processing may rely on legitimate interests or legal obligations. The legal grounds used by Google and Apple are described in their own notices.
5. Younger players
The Game primarily targets adults and is intended for players aged 13 and above. It is not specifically directed to children under 13. Before advertising is used, the Game asks for an age group (under 18 or 18 and older), not a date of birth. The choice is stored locally. Players who select under 18 can continue playing without rewarded advertising; the Game does not initiate advertising or UMP requests for them.
This self-declared age choice is not identity or age verification. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about information relating to your child, contact us. We will investigate information under our control and take appropriate steps. Apple separately handles optional Game Center information under its privacy policy.
6. Support emails
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use these to answer your question and resolve the issue. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information, including information about children.
7. Sharing and international processing
We do not sell your saved game data or support correspondence. Information may be processed by Google for advertising, Apple for Game Center, and our email service provider for support. We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to protect rights and prevent abuse. Service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States; their privacy policies explain their international transfer arrangements.
8. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains on your device until it is reset or removed. Deleting the app generally removes its local data; Apple-managed backups and Game Center records are handled separately by Apple. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to respond to and resolve requests and meet applicable obligations. Google and Apple determine retention for information held in their services.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us for requests concerning information we control. For information held by Google or Apple, use their privacy controls or request channels. UK users may also raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
10. Security and changes
We take reasonable steps to protect information under our control, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision, and material changes will be communicated where required.
